Interklima MD Air Handling Unit series
are produced in 18 sizes being able to cover the requirements of any
air conditioning or ventilation application for temperature,
humidity, air quality, air flow as well as noise levels of the
highest standards.
With over 30 years of experience in
related products, and project installations in over 50 countries
worldwide at even the most extreme climate conditions, has allowed
Interklima to acquire a technical know how second to none in this
product category.
The applied modular design method used
allows the combination of a wide range of components being able to
cover from the simplest to most complex and demanding application..
Features
Casing: Hot-dip galvanized steel
frame profiles, high strength type, of specific construction that
incorporates a thermal break and air tightness (EPDM) gasket, that
ensures full peripheral thermal break and that no metal bridge
occurs from any internal or external surface, also incorporating a
labyrinth for sealing against positive and negative air pressures.
(Patent Nr 1003076/31.12/97). The panels are double skin type using
Hot-Dip galvanized steel profiles with in between thermal and sound
insulation of either rigid factory injected polyurethane or mineral
wool 40mm or 50mm thick. RAL 9002 powder polyesteric salt spray
tested coating for internal or external surfaces is available upon
request. Aluminum or stainless steel metal casings may also be used
upon request. Access doors are specially designed with anticorrosive
handles and hinges permiting doors to open either left or right or
even completely removed.
Fan sections: Centrifugal type
with double width-double inlet, forward curved blades for low
pressure systems and backward curved or airfoil blade type for high
pressure systems, statically and dynamically balanced. Transmission
via trapezoid V-belts and pulleys with taper lock bushing that
offers easy replacement in the case of needing to change fan speed.
The motors are 3-phase induction motors suitable for 380v / 3ph / 50
Hz power supply with IP55 protection and F class insulation. Upon
request Free Flow (Plug) Fans can be used with uniform internal unit
flow and direct drive motor. The rotation speed is accomplished with
frequency inverters connected with the motor. Optional components
include motors with internal thermal protection PTO or PTC
thermistors.
Coil Section: The coils (finned
heat exchangers) for cold/ hot water or refrigerant are fabricated
of seamless copper tubes with aluminum fins corrugated type of high
efficiency (ASTM B-280). Alternative material for fins is copper or
prepainted aluminum
Drop eliminators with galvanized
or stainless steel frame and special shaped PVC profiles.
Recovery sections with many
alternatives (plate heat exchanger, thermal wheel, heat pipe, run
around coils).
Filter sections with various
drawable, pleated or bag filters (EU3- EU9).
Humidifier section with water
spray, laminar or steam humidifiers.
Sound attenuators sections with
splitters made of galvanized frame and mineral wool covered
byfibercloth.
Selection through modern software.
